MEMBER-MEMBER DEVIL BALL DERBY

Friday, August 2, 2024 starting at approximately 10:30 am (assigned tee times)

 

Conditions of the competition

Opening day to end of business on Friday, July 26, 2024

 

Format

18-holes with three different formats including better-ball, true alternate shot, and scramble.

 

Eligibility

Entries are open to all Male and Female members of Breakfast Hill Golf Club with an active GHIN.  All players MUST be

competing in the Member-Member to participate in this event (unless special consideration is granted).

 

Handicaps

Better-ball = 100%, Alternate Shot = 50% of sum, and Scramble = 35% & 15%.

 

Teams

Member-Member partner will constitute your team for this event.  Please see Nate Bridges if a substitute is requested due to

scheduling issues.  Substitutes will be considered but are not guaranteed.

 

Tee markers & flights

All men will play from the black markers.  Senior men (ages 65+) have the option to play from the silver markers.  All ladies will

compete from the gold tees.  There is only one flight for this event.

 

Entry fee

$80 per player (cash only) is due prior to the start of the event.  Fee includes golf, cart (included but optional), range balls, team prizes, and special contest prizes.  Players are invited to “dine on their own” throughout this event.

 

Prizes

All prizes for this event will be cash.  The total number of payouts will depend on number of entries.

 

Skins game

Included with $80 entry fee.

 

 

A member organized Calcutta may take place at approximately 5:30 pm following 6-6-6 play.

 

In the event of extreme weather, the Club will alter competition so that play is completed on the originally scheduled dates. 

Players are encouraged to keep their schedule flexible this weekend.
